Biography:

Diann Jeppson is an enthusiastic new tour guide and tour operator. Giving tours is her second career after 25 years as a teacher, non-profit administrator and community event planner. Her new company, Heritage Excursions, is in the works, with plans to open during the summer of 2017. This new service will specialize in providing fun, educational tours of the State of Utah. She completed the Utah Tour Guide Association Step-On Guide Training and Certification course in December, 2015. In developing her new tour company, Diann draws on her experience creating dozens of fun and meaningful events for families and children. She produces Liberty Girls Clubs and Retreatswhich are exciting events and club meetings, based on time periods in American history, for girls 6-11. She produces Simulations Week an annual civics event for youth ages 12-18. She offers Parliamentary Procedure Consulting and Trainingfor group members and leaders, regarding meeting and management, officer duties, bylaws and committees. Her non-profit experience includes serving as board chairman for two colleges, and president of a non-profit civics organization. She played guitar and sang in a bluegrass band called "The Wildflowers" for 8 years, performing in the US, Canada and Europe. Her personal interests include history, literature, civics, education, music, parliamentary procedure, entrepreneurship and homesteading. She and her husband Adam live in Mount Pleasant, a small Central-Utah town in a secluded high-desert mountain valley. Adam is the town gunsmith. Adam and Diann have four adult daughters and five grand children.
